Om Eva Georgii-Hemming
Eva Georgii-Hemming är professor i musikvetenskap vid Örebro universitet. Hennes forskning handlar om de maktrelationer som finns i musikutbildning, musikskapande och användning av musik. Eva har publicerat forskning både nationellt och internationellt, där hon bland annat behandlar yrkesprofession, kunskapsformer, akademisering och ojämlika villkor i musikaliska kontexter.
Hennes forskning har även lett till återkommande presentationer och keynotes vid internationella konferenser i Europa och USA. Hon har också haft ett flertal internationella uppdrag som redaktör, granskare samt ledare för forskningsprojekt och forskarnätverk, främst inom musikpedagogik och musikpedagogisk filosofi.
Eva har tidigare varit prefekt för Musikhögskolan vid Örebro universitet (2017–2023).
