Om Daniela Andrén
Daniela Andrén är docent i nationalekonomi på Handelshögskolan vid Örebro universitet. Hennes huvudsakliga forskningsintressen ligger inom arbetsmarknadsekonomi, hälsoekonomi och välfärdsekonomi, med särskilt fokus på utvärdering av offentliga program. Hon har författat artiklar som täcker användningen av sjukförsäkring, arbetsmarknadsinriktade program, socialbidrag och välbefinnande. För närvarande kretsar hennes forskning kring arbetsintegrerande sociala företag, individens välbefinnande och samhällets välfärd, med hänsyn till befolkningens preferenser för att fördela begränsade resurser och deras betalningsvilja för interventioner avsedda att skydda individer och samhället från negativa händelser.
Utöver sin forskningsverksamhet har Daniela utvecklat, samordnat och undervisat kurser inom nationalekonomi, ekonometri och tillämpad ekonometri för nationalekonomer inklusive vetenskapliga metoder och kommunikation, kausal inferens för nationalekonomer och hälsoekonomi normativ. Hon är också involverad och deltar hon aktivt i pedagogiska projekt som syftar till att utveckla, utvärdera och implementera utbildningsmetoder för att öka studenters inlärningsresultat och övergripande välbefinnande.
