About this project
Project information
The aim is to study and analyze the importance of the physical environment in meetings between child welfare workers and children within the Social Services’ operations and activities. The project focuses on meetings between child welfare workers and children, that are part of investigative work or monitoring of interventions. With help from theoretical concepts such as spatial dialectics and recognition, the physical environment is analysed as a facilitator for welfare workers' opportunities to capture children's unique circumstances and to enable and strengthen children's participation.
