About Rigmor Argren
Rigmor Argren is Assistant professor of Public International Law and International Humanitarian Law at Örebro University. She has a Ph.D. in International Human Rights Law from Essex University (2012) and holds an LL.M. degree in International Human Rights Law from Essex University (2003) as well as a Master of Communications from Örebro University (2004). She also holds a Diploma in Humanitarian Leadership from the Centre for Humanitarian Leadership at the Deakin University (2014). She has published in Swedish and English, and her current research interest pertains to the intersection between international humanitarian law and other legal regimes such as international environmental law and international human rights law. In terms of substantial law, her work focuses on non-absolute rights with inherent limitations, such as the right to privacy and freedom of expression, including the right to information and new technologies.
