Children and Improved Crisis Response
About this project
Project information
With panel discussions on the topic on Children and Improved Crisis Response at the World Conference on Humanitarian Studies in the Hague 2018, the research looks at how crisis response, on the topic of e.g. conflict, migration or natural disasters, can be improved for children. The project takes on a child rights perspective, and with a rights based approach it takes the individual complaints mechanism of the optional protocol III to the Child Rights Convention into consideration. The research project is currently combined with a book project examining the topic of improving crisis response with a child rights perspective from the three distinctive topics of international law, the impact of technology and changing realities.
