Om Richard Forsgård
Richard Forsgård gick med Nutrition-Gut-Brain Interactions (NGBI) Research Centre i mars 2019 som en av de postdokterna rekryterade inom Universitets Mat och Hälsa satsning. Richard fick sin doktorsexamen inom farmakologi från Helsingfors universitet i 2018. I sin doktorsavhandling med titeln Intestinal permeability as a marker of gastrointestinal health, undersökte han förändringar i tarmbarriärfunktionen efter olika stressfaktorer. I september 2021, började han jobba som en Marie Curie Fellow forskare med ett forskningsprojekt som ska focusera hur kostfibrer modulerar tarmbarriärfunktion och interaktioner mellan tarmpermeabilitet, mikrobiota och inflammation.
