Om Ricardo Goncalves
Ricardo är fil. dr i pedagogik och legitimerad förskollärare. Hans forskningsintressen rör didaktik, genus och jämställdhet i förskolan, särskilt i förhållande till manlig förskolepersonal. Ricardo studerade i sitt avhandlingsprojekt relationen mellan manliga förskollärare, barn och fysisk beröring i förskolan. I studien avsåg han att undersöka hur fysisk beröring som pedagogisk handling kan skapa förutsättningar för barnens omsorg och lärande, samt manliga förskollärares yrkesutövning.
Ricardo undervisar inom förskollärarutbildningen i bland annat lek, lärande, estetik samt kritisk pedagogik i förskolan. Han är också medlem i forskargrupperna: ReCEL (Reasearch on Children, Education and Learning), Gender Balance (EECERA Special Interest Group) och HOME (Brazilian Research Group on Men, Masculinities and Education).
