Bakgrund
Maria Larsson har doktorerat vid MTM i miljökemi med avhandlingen: Chemical and bioanalytical characterisation of PAH-contaminated soils-identification, availability and mixture toxicity of AhR agonists (2013). Arbetar idag som forskare i gruppen för Miljö och Hälsa.
Forskningsinriktning
Mitt forskningsområde är miljökemi med fokus på identifiering, exponering samt kombinationseffekter (cocktail effekter) av organiska föroreningar i komplexa blandningar. Jag använder en effektdriven analys (EDA) som kombinerar kemisk analys och mekanismspecifika bioanalyser med högupplösta fraktioneringstekniker för kemisk och toxikologisk karakterisering och identifiering av organiska föroreningar och deras toxiska mekanismer i komplexa blandningar som luft, damm och jord. Särskilt fokus är på polycykliska aromatiska föreningar.
Jag är labchef för det bioanalytiska laboratoriet i gruppen för Miljö och Hälsa vid MTM forskningscentrum.
