Om Göran Eriksson
Göran Eriksson arbetar sedan 2012 som professor i medie- och kommunikationsvetenskap. Hans forskning sker inom det diskursanalytiska fältet. Han har i stor omfattning publicerat studier som intresserar sig för frågor rörande politik och medier. Studierna har främst intresserat sig för olika typer av politiska intervjuer och hur politik och journalistik representeras i medierna. Han har också intresserat sig för reality tv, främst med en inriktning mot multimodala studier representationer av arbetarklass. Den nu pågående forskningen sker med koppling till hälsosociologi och intresserar sig för representationer av hälsosam mat och hälsosamt ätande i olika sammanhang. Pågående studier analyserar olika typer av marknadsföring och hur vetenskap och vetenskaplig expertis kommuniceras. Göran är Associate Editor för tidskriften Discourse, Context & Media.
