Political Culture in Comparative Perspective: Composition and Significance

This project focuses on the composition of political cultures: the development and significance of composition. This project develops new methods and measurements to examine the composition of political cultures. These methods are used to empirical test hypotheses about the importance of culture compositions for democratic systems, but also hypotheses about social developments affect the composition of political culture. Furthermore, a comparative database on the composition of political cultures is developed with materials from international surveys.
