About this project
Project information
Balance deficit is common also at an early stage in multiple sclerosis and the deficits increase over time. Balance impairment has a negative impact on everyday life, increase risk of falling and may lead to reduced activity levels due to fear of falling and affect next-of-kin. There are gaps of knowledge regarding fall risk factors related to individual as well as contextual factors, especially for people with less disability related to MS. The project will explore and describe the complexity of fall risk factors in using the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health.
