CloROP - Clonidine as pain relief during eye examinations in preterm infants

Preterm infants undergo a number of pain- and stressful eye examinations. There is today no effective pain alleviation for these examinations.

CloROP will study if orally given Clonidine can reduce this pain. An observational scale and skin conductance will be used to measure the pain. Patients will be recruited at the Neonatal units in Uppsala and Örebro.
