International Working Group on Online Consultation and Public Policymaking

Consisting of eighteen scholars from nine countries, the group was a three year collaborative project. Inaugural meeting at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, March 29–31, 2007. Participation in four international working groups was supported by $280,000, through a grant of $1,000,000 to the Center for Technology in Government at the State University of New York at Albany, from the National Science Foundation’s Digital Research Program (PI, Sharon Dawes, SUNY–Albany; IWG Chairs, Peter Shane, Ohio State University, Stephen Coleman, Leeds University). Grant, not administered by Örebro University, paid for cost of meetings facilities, travel, and subsistence for non-US citizens.
