About Magnus Engwall
My research is directed towards studying receptor-mediated effects of organic environmental pollutants on living organisms. I lead several research projects using mechanism-specific bioassays for characterisation of complex mixtures of receptor-acting toxicants. These include toxicological characterisation and risk assessment of contaminated soil and sediment, marine plastic, and other complex mixtures. I am also research director of Man-Technology-Environment research center.
