About Ida Flink

Ida Flink is professor in psychology at Karlstad University (KAU), and is also an affiliated professor at Örebro University. She is a researcher and licensed psychologist, affiliated with the Center for Health and Medical Psychology (CHAMP), Örebro University. She graduated from the psychology program at Örebro University in 2007 and received her clinical license in 2009. She completed her dissertation in 2011 and became a professor at KAU in 2023. Her research interests are within health psychology, mainly with a focus on the role of psychological processes in the development, maintenance and treatment of pain problems, and CBT for persistent pain. She is particularly interested in pain conditions that mainly affect women, such as vulvodynia and pain of childbirth.

Ida is working in the Hybrid project.
