Walk & Talk

Örebro University encourages day-to-day exercise to promote a health-enhancing study and work environment. We’ve put together five suggested “Walk & Talk” routes of varying distances, taking between 10 and 45 minutes. Choose one for a walking meeting or a recovery walk on your work break. Wear comfortable shoes, dress according to the weather, and head out for a walk – alone or with a colleague.

NOTE: As there are no signs along the routes, we suggest viewing the routes on your mobile or taking it along on paper. See the MazeMap links and/or the PDF link below.

Långhuset 800 meter (EASY)

A casual 10-minute walk around Långhuset – has no up or downhill slopes. The route is paved with stone slabs.

Östra Mark 1700 meter (MODERATE)

A 20-minute walk over Östra Mark – features gentle up and downhill slopes. The route contains paved asphalt, stone slabs, gravel roads, and earth trails.

Campus Örebro 2000 meter (MODERATE)

A 25-minute walk around Campus Örebro – features 22 and 5-step stairs. The route contains paved asphalt, stone slabs, gravel roads, and earth trails.

Koloniområdet 3000 meter (MODERATE)

A 35-minute walk around the allotment garden area – features gentle up and downhill slopes. The route contains paved asphalt, stone slabs, gravel roads, and earth trails.

A 45-minute walk around the allotment garden area and part of Markaspåret – features some steep up and downhill slopes. The route contains paved asphalt, stone slabs, gravel roads, and earth trails.
