Cabell's Predatory Reports

Cabell's Predatory Reports helps researchers identify questionable journals.

For each journal in the database, the first review date is shown, as well as the identified violations to good publishing practice.

When assessing a journal, we recommend that you use Cabell's as part of the evaluation process. Additional resources for evaluating journals are available under Research support on oru.se.

Be aware that new predatory journals are launched continuously. Thus, a certain journal that is not found in Cabell's should not be regarded as legitimate until further checks have been made.

Örebro University's subscription is limited to Predatory Reports. Another product (Journalytics), available on the same platform, is not part of the agreement.

Off-campus access is only available for employees and students at Örebro University.
