Om Ulrika Olausson
Ulrika jobbar som forskningsrådgivare gentemot HS-fakulteten. Hon har 25 års forskningserfarenhet inom ämnet medie- och kommunikationsvetenskap, under perioden 2012-2022 som professor först vid Örebro universitet och därefter vid högskolan i Jönköping. Hon är internationellt väletablerad inom området miljökommunikation.
Ulrika disputerade vid Örebro universitet 2005 med avhandlingen Medborgarskap och globalisering: Den diskursiva konstruktionen av politisk identitet, utnämndes till docent 2009 och professor 2012 vid samma lärosäte. Sedan disputationen har Ulrika varit projektledare för och medverkande i en mängd externfinansierade forskningsprojekt. Hon har också bedömt forskningsansökningar såväl nationellt som internationellt.
Ulrikas nuvarande forskningsfokus handlar om kommunikationens roll för etablerandet av djup hållbarhet. Hennes senaste bok Dualismens tyranni: Nio etiska principer för hållbar kommunikation är ett exempel på denna ansats. Boken är även publicerad på internationellt förlag med titeln The Ethics of Sustainable Communication: Overcoming the World of Opposites.
