Om Panagiota Chatzipetrou
Dr. Panagiota Chatzipetrou är Associate professor (Docent) vid Örebro universitet.
Hon har en kandidatexamen i informatik, en masterexamen i informatik och företagsekonomi och en doktorsexamen i informatik från institutionen för informatik vid Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Grekland. Hon disputerade med avhandlingen ”Statistical methods in information systems project planning”. Hon har dessutom en masterexamen i pedagogik och didaktik, och har även studerat specialpedagogik, inlärningssvårigheter och dyslexi.
Som forskare har hon sitt huvudfokus på empiriska studier utifrån olika perspektiv inom programvaruutveckling. Hennes forskningsintressen omfattar bland annat tillämpningar av statistisk metod på kvalitetsproblem inom programvaruutveckling, framförallt på kravhantering och utnyttjandet av den mänskliga faktorn samt de olika synsätt som blir styrande för kvaliteten på programvaran och produktutvecklingen. Hon har också arbetat med beslutsstödssystem för utvecklingen av programvaruintensiva system, storskalig agil (och global) programvaruutveckling, samt beteendestyrd programvaruutveckling, s.k. behavioural software engineering.
Hon har samarbetat med ett antal lärosäten, såsom Blekinge tekniska högskola, Karlskrona, Sverige; Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Grekland; University of Applied Sciences, Western Macedonia, Grekland; Mediterranean College Thessaloniki, Grekland; University of Derby, Storbritannien; och Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, Grekland.
