Om Johan Öhman
Johan Öhman är professor i pedagogik vid institutionen för humaniora, utbildning och samhällsvetenskap, Örebro universitetet. Han är en av grundarna av forskningsmiljön SMED (Studies of Meaning-making in Educational Discourses) och leder forskargruppen ESERGO (Environmental and Sustainability Education Research Group Örebro). Under de senaste 30 åren har han varit involverad i lärarutbildning och studenthandledning. Hans forskningsområde är etiska och demokratiska frågor inom utomhuspedagogik och miljö- och hållbarhetsutbildning och han är författare till flera forskningsartiklar, läroböcker och bokkapitel, både på svenska och engelska, om dessa teman. I sin forskning använder han teorier och metodologier baserade på didaktisk teori och John Deweys pragmatiska filosofi.
