Fides Ugge-Schückher är medicine doktor och disputerade 2020 med en avhandling rörande socialt stabila kvinnor som söker behandling för sitt alkoholbrukssyndrom. I sitt kliniska uppdrag arbetar hon som överläkare; (specialist i psykiatri och leg psykoterapeut) och klinikstudierektor på Beroendecenrum i Örebro. Hon är, sedan många år, föreläsare bl a på läkarutbildningen och har tidigare arbetat på CAMTÖ med evidensbaserad medicin
