Om Alexander Hedbrant
Alexander Hedbrant är doktor i biomedicin och anställd som forskare inom forskningsmiljön Inflammatory Response and Infection Susceptibility Centre (iRiSC) vid Örebro Universitet.
Forskning
Hans forskninghandlar främst om hur det medfödda immunförsvaret fungerar och regleras. Pågående projekt studerar hur partikelexponering i olika typer av industrimiljöer, så som gjuterier och hårdmetallindustri och additiv tillverkning (3D-printing) kan påverka inflammation, och i ett större perspektiv, även hälsa.
Undervisning
Alexander Hedbrant undervisar på läkarprogrammet som basgruppshandledare, samt föreläser på masterutbildningen för experimentell medicin.
