Om Ahmed Nouman
Ahmed Nouman is an experienced academic and researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. He worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Engineering and Technology in Taxila, Pakistan, for 14 years, from 2008 to July 2022. During this time, he taught courses on various topics, including Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Machine Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
Ahmed Nouman is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS) in Sweden. He is involved in various research projects, including Intelligent Management of Mixed Traffic in Mines and TeamRob - Teams of Robots Working for and with Humans. His research interests lie in Cognitive Robotics, Machine Perception, Planning under Uncertainty, Service Robotics, and Multiagent Coordination.
Ahmed Nouman holds a Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering from Sabanci University in Istanbul, Turkey, which he received in 2019. His research during his Ph.D. focused on Hybrid Conditional Planning for Service Robotics. He also holds a BSc and MSc in Mechatronics & Control Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, which he received in 2007 and 2012.
Ahmed Nouman is a well-respected researcher and academic in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, focusing on planning, machine learning, service robotics, and autonomous mobile robotics.
