NEOLAiA University Faculty: Join us for the First Summer Conference of the Neolaia Law Network (NLN), focusing on two key themes:

Day 1: The Common Constitutional Traditions in the European Union: Content and Legal Value
Day 2: Teaching Innovations and the Use of AI in Legal Education

Event Details

Dates: May 19-20, 2025
Participation: Free of charge, including lunches and dinners
Travel & Lodging: Not included. We have reserved rooms at Clarion Hotel Kungsgatan in Örebro (1690 SEK/night), to book use this link no later than March 23, 2025, after that, booking is subject to availability.

Erasmus Exchange Possibility
Individual participants may combine conference attendance with an Erasmus Teaching Exchange. Örebro University will be running courses across various fields of law during the conference week, including Private Law, Administrative Law, International Law, Tax Law, Environmental Law, Criminal Law, Legal English, Intellectual Property, and Data Protection. Call for Papers

We welcome paper submissions for parallel workshops on Day 1 under the theme Common Constitutional Traditions in the European Union: Content and Legal Value, particularly on the principles across various fields:

  1. Public Law, Administrative Law, and Tax Law
  2. Private Law, Business Law, and Labor Law
  3. International Law and Human Rights Law
  4. Criminal Law
  5. Procedural Law

Please submit a profile (including your name, academic affiliation, position, and relevant research areas) along with a summary (maximum 10,000 characters) of your proposed paper. Both should be in Word format and sent to Karin Blad at karin.blad@oru.se by December 3, 2024.
