Upcoming seminars
The need for collaboration and research within ambulance services to improve quality and guide health economic decisions
The seminar aims to explore the use of economic analysis on data from ambulance services to discover new insights that can improve quality and make the decision-making processes within healthcare more efficient. We will address how issues directly relevant to ambulance services can be studied from the perspective of ambulance nurses and emphasize the importance of evidence-based policy and practice. Our goal is to engage participants in a thorough discussion on how these insights can be applied to enhance ambulance services and guide health economic decisions. The seminar intends to create a platform for discussion where researchers and practitioners can jointly formulate important research questions, and how we can use the results from this research in daily operations to make the use of resources within healthcare more efficient and better meet the needs of society and citizens.
Seminar speaker: Daniel Knutsson, Lecturer in Economics at the School of Business, Economics and Law at Örebro University, and specialist nurse in ambulance care with many years of experience in the ambulance service in Stockholm.
