Management of flammable waste and spills

Spills must be cleaned up as soon as possible using some type of absorbent material. Dispose of the absorbent material as flammable waste. Flammable liquid waste should be dealt with in the same way as flammable goods, e.g. with regard to quantities, ventilation requirements and accident management. Materials that have been in contact with flammable goods, e.g. cloths, must be disposed of in lidded waste bins.
