My document looks different after being uploaded to an assignment

When a Microsoft Office document, f ex a .doc or .docx file, is uploaded in an assignment, the system converts the file into a pdf file. The converted file is opened in the review window where the teacher can enter comments. This conversion may result in increased line spacing and other formatting changes.

It's the converted file that appears when you open your submitted assignment in system.

When a teacher opens a student's submission, where conversion has been made, a warning/info text is displayed "The conversion process may have changed the line spacing in this submission. You can still download the original file".

The uploaded document in original format with "correct" formatting is always available for download, both for teacher and student, via the three dots next to the file name.
