Sport Science, Sport Management in an International Context, 7.5 Credits

The course aims to give you an insight into different countries' ways of organizing sports and how sports management is affected by differences in culture, geography, economics and politics. The course includes a number of digital lectures with experts or researchers from different countries who present how sport is organized in their respective countries. Based on the presentations, what the differences in the various countries are due to is discussed and you get to reflect on what framework the specific national context sets for sport management. You can then work on a case in a country of your choice.
