Public Relations and Applied Communication, 7.5 Credits
PR – public relations – is a popular concept, but what does it really mean? What kind of people and professional practices are involved in PR and how does it affect our daily lives? This course will provide you with essential knowledge about the various ways in which public relations are applied in organizations and in society. Through workshops, case studies and group work you will learn to analyze different aspects of public relation, such as propaganda and public affaires, democracy, crisis management, mass media relations and brand value. You will also have the opportunity to both in-depth and practical work while developing your own communication campaigns, together with other students.
