Economics, Economics Research and Communication, Advanced Course, 7.5 Credits

The course provides students with the essential knowledge and skills to conduct and communicate empirical economic analysis. It combines lectures on econometrics and the scientific method with practical applications in computer labs. The course covers regression analysis with cross-sectional and panel data, emphasizing the understanding, computation, and interpretation of statistical estimates. Special attention is given to the proper communication of research findings to ensure clarity and precision in economic analysis.

Students will engage in self-assessment tests and quizzes designed to support continuous learning and identify areas for improvement. Practical training is conducted using Stata software, which equips students with the technical skills needed for rigorous empirical work.
