Cybersecurity and Cybercrimes, 15 Credits
The cyberspace has changed many aspects, which have led to the adoption of the new legal rules and creating new legal frameworks. Cybersecurity and cybercrime are two complex subjects and rapidly changing how we perceive and implement the law. Today, the cyberspace not only facilitates criminal opportunities, but also creates new types of crimes. Consequently, there has been attempts to understand and regulate both cybersecurity and cybercrime. The course aims to provide a deep understanding of the concepts of cybersecurity and cybercrimes. Within this context, the relevant legal framework regulating cybersecurity and cybercrimes, protecting cybersecurity and combating cybercrime are analyzed during the course. The course can perfectly be combined with the other advance courses offered in law at Örebro University that analyze different aspects of digitalization and law, which provides for specialization in this topic.

Alternatively, 180 credits at the first level of which 90 credits with increasing depth within informatics, including an essay (G2E) of 15 credits, and 7.5 credits in law.
