Business Administration, CSR and Business Ethics, Second Cycle, 7.5 Credits
This course introduces the concepts of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability and puts them in their historical setting. You will learn about the stakeholder model and stakeholder management. We discuss how to best make a sustainability strategy and how to connect it to the overall business strategy through the Shared Value concepts. We also put ethical perspectives on business and discuss governance of ethics in organizations. In addition, we use the concept of political CSR in a critical discussion. Guests from a number of companies participate in the classroom including two dragon nests exercises where students pitch their best ideas to a panel of corporate managers.

When is the course offered?

Prerequisites: First-cycle courses of 75 credits in Business Administration or first-cycle courses of 60 credits in Business Administration and a first-cycle course of 30 credits in another field of study including an independent project/bachelor thesis of 15 credits. The applicant must also have qualifications corresponding to the course "English 6" or "English B" from the Swedish Upper Secondary School.
