Orientation Programme Spring Semester 2025

OP

Members of the Nexus board, Örebro Day 2024.

The Orientation Programme, or OP for short, is organized by Örebro University in cooperation with Nexus. Nexus is a newly established student section at Örebro University, replacing the former student organisation ESN Örebro, whose aim is to welcome new international students on campus and in Örebro city. During the OP, the International Office is responsible for all practical and academic activities, whereas Nexus is responsible for the social activities.

  • You will get access to the OP schedule for all social activities closer to the exchange semester, and it usually includes social hang-outs, campus - and city tours, pub crawls, parties and international dinner among many other things. If you have any questions about the social aspects of the OP please contact Nexus
  • Furthermore, if you have any questions regarding the academic and practical part of the orientation programme please contact the International office

Below you can find the OP schedule organized by Örebro University:

Monday, January 20: Welcome Reception and Campus Tour

The welcome reception is a mandatory session where you get to meet the team of the International Office, our Student Health Centre, your fellow international classmates and Nexus, to get valuable information about your exchange stay here in Örebro.

After the presentation from the International office you will be divided into smaller groups and taken on a campus tour with the Nexus fadders.
