Medicine is since March 2010, a specialisation within the subject Medical Science.
Within the area one studies the normal and disease-related processes in the human organism from the molecular to the organism level. The area also includes the human organism influence of environmental factors and interactions with the surrounding environment as well as pharmacological principles.
Currently there are more than forty registered postgraduate students in the field. The majority of the projects carried out can be "classified" as near patient clinical. Supervision is done by people who have roots both at Örebro University and Region Örebro County.
