Post Graduate School for Integrated Care will contribute with knowledge in the transformation of Swedish healthcare to be conducted more close to the patient and study processes and effects of the change. Examples of research areas are person-centred care, co-creation and co-production, welfare technology, e-health, preventive and health-promoting activities, change processes in health care, e.g. implementation and process evaluation. The research area "close care" is multifaceted, which often requires that different scientific competences collaborate based on multi- and interdisciplinary perspectives.

Post Graduate School for Integrated Care has the ambition to offer a strong and creative environment for doctoral education. The activities within the research school must strengthen the quality and content of supervision and education and be an extra resource for the doctoral students who are part of it.
