Course content

The overall aim of the course is to give a broad overview of different topics used in medical research, like scientific writing and research communication, scientific conduct and research ethics, research design, quantitative and qualitative research methods, theory of science, sustainability in research, and gender equality and equality in research.

Course information

The course is mandatory for doctoral students in Medical Science and runs once a year (spring semester). 

Preliminary scheduled weeks are week 6, 11 and 15. Detailed schedule will be published closer to the start of the course.

Course language

The course language is English.

Admission requirements

To gain access to the course and complete the examinations included in the course, the applicant must be admitted to doctoral education at Örebro University. Applicants enrolled at another university may participate in availability.
