Course description

The course discusses research design, methods for data collection and analysis, as well as opportunities and limitations in relation to different methodological points of departure. Qualitative methods are discussed and analysed from power- and intersectional perspectives. The course consists of two parts: one joint introductory part (2.5 credits) and one specialisation part (5 credits), with in-depth studies of ethnography, interviews, or text and discourse analysis. The doctoral student chooses one of these orientations or several of these orientations. If you wish to attend more than one of the specialisations and gain credits for this, please choose specialisations when you register for the course.
