Phase IV, Medical deepening

Phase IV, Medical deepening includes semesters ten and eleven. During semester ten, students will carry out, under the supervision of tutors, a research-oriented scientific work of 30 ECTS credits. This work can be accomplished at another domestic or international university.

During semester eleven treatment issues surrounding complex medical problems are in focus, which should develop the student's ability to independently integrate and use knowledge and skills. These periods of clinical training is made above all in primary care, emergency and intensive care. During the course the students should reach the final competencies defined by local and national learning outcomes and which gradually developed throughout the programme. This course prepares the student for the internship and future professional activities as a physician.
