Proposal for the mid-way review in medical science
Mid-way review is a mandatory element in doctoral education. The mid-way review shall be held no later than when half of the doctoral study programme has been completed, i.e., after two years for full-time studies, or earlier if two papers have been accepted for publication in a refereed journal. The mid-way review is planned by the supervisor in consultation with the doctoral student and other supervisors, as well as with the specialisations coordinator.

Please note that the total file size (all files) can be a maximum of 20 Mb. If this is exceeded, the form cannot be submitted. Then try either compressing the files so they are smaller and/or converting Word files to PDF.

- A list of other scientific publications part of the thesis project, that is, conference abstracts etc. (In case of several abstracts etc., a list of all + the abstracts themselves)
- A status report (according to template above)
- Ethical permission(s) and application(s)
- Compilation list for papers and ethical permits (according to template above)
- Appendices (the applications, decisions, supplementary applications, etc.) for ethics are emailed to fouadm.mv@oru.se. If the ethical vetting application is written in a language other than Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or English, the document must be translated by an authorised translator.
- A transcript of records from Ladok (printed by the doctoral student in the student portal Studenttjänster)
- A statement from the principal supervisor relating to the doctoral student’s completed and planned courses. The statement should be based on the course requirements laid down in the general syllabus
- A copy of the current individual study plan (ISP)
- an account of the reasons for any deviations from the guidelines
