Agile Competency-Based Learning for Individuals and Teams, ACTIVATE

The project develops educational materials and pedagogical support for development of clinical skills in home care. The focus is on competence needed in the care of critically ill individuals, where knowledge from multiple professional groups is required within the team. A methodology is being developed where authentically based patient scenarios are created alongside pedagogical support, which can be used in simulation-based learning on campus and in care homes. Key elements also include digital learning support, such as AI-generated feedback for learners and guides for teachers/supervisors.

The project is financed by Erasmus+ and strengthens collaboration between universities in Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands and is expected to address societal needs related to the care of the elderly population.
