Risk of frailty after cancer treatment
About this project
Project information
Frailty has been one of the greatest challenges in the face of growing ageing population. As cancer itself can be traumatic, and cancer treatments are substantial stressors with accompanying side effects that can persist, cancer survivors may carry an increased risk of frailty. The aim of this study is to identify pre-existing characteristics associated with future frailty risk in old age following successful cancer treatment.
