In this research project, funded by the Swedish research council and the Swedish research council for sports science, we study whether teacher education matters for teaching practice in school. By focusing on assesment for learning (AfL) as a particular content area in teacher education, we investigate how AfL is transmitted and transformed during school placements and in the induction phase of physical education teaching.
