Welfare technology in elderly care homes supported by students

The project aims at increasing the understanding of workplace-based learning in elderly care. A Design-based research method will be used to develop learning activities of students' Horizon gazing in relation to welfare technology and then bring this knowledge into elderly care practice during placements.  Stakeholders from the University, municipalities and hospital-based development units will meet during integrative workshops in which different perspectives will be expressed and researched using an  activity perspective (Engeström).
