Jort Veen is doctor of medicine in sport science after successfully defending his thesis

Wednesday 23 November at 1 p.m. the defence of the doctoral thesis began in auditorium C1 on Campus USÖ and just over three hours later it was announced that the School of Health Sciences had gained a new doctor in sports science.

Jort Veen defended his thesis "Physical activity, muscle mass and physical function in older adults". The opponent at the defence was Anna-Karin Welmer, associate professor at Karolinska Institutet.
