Criminal behavior has negative consequences for society at large in the form of, among other things, socio-economic losses but also in the form of human suffering for crime victims and their families.
Within our research group, we are interested in understanding the development of criminal behavior over time, as well as related outcomes such as early childhood problems, juvenile delinquency, antisocial and aggressive behavior, and its short-term and long-term consequences. Among other data sources, we use population-based Swedish longitudinal registers study the developmental aspects of criminal behavior.
