Sports for everyone: A study on the experiences and views of foreign-born parents on organized sports

The overall aim of the project is to gain an in-depth understanding of foreign-born parents' perceptions of organized club sports in Sweden and to explore the challenges and facilitators that affect their involvement in youth sports. A better understanding of foreign-born parents' perceptions of sports and factors influencing their involvement in children's sports activities may have significant implications for theory and future research in the field, as well as for practitioners interested in promoting sports participation among foreign-born parents and their children.
