Researchers and school in close collaboration to help young people

A collaboration agreement between Lindeskolan and the research group Center for Health and Medical Psychology (CHAMP) at Örebro University started in autumn 2006 and is still ongoing. The collaboration between the years 2006 to 2009 briefly consisted of that all students in grades 1 to 3 were followed over three years through a longitudinal health survey. An important aim of this longitudinal study was that over time, examining how both illness and health developed by examining a broad base of both physical and psychological symptoms. Writing popular scientific reports, master thesis, and articles on the basis of both the health survey and, based on research conducted at Lindeskolan are examples of what the continued collaboration has been about.
