Treatment of alkaline drainage

Alkaline waters are a result of contact with slags, ashes and other alkaline by products. These waters have a high pH and often contain high concentrations of anionic trace elements such as vanadium, antimony and molybdenum, that can cause problems in the recipient. The aim of the project is to find simple methds to treat the waters and remove the trace elements.
