Publishing agreement: eLife

Through the agreement, corresponding authors at Örebro University can publish with open access in the journal eLife at no cost.

Articles submitted to eLife from April 1, 2024, are covered by the agreement, which is jointly funded by the Swedish Research Council, Forte, Formas, and Vinnova.

Instructions for Authors

All corresponding authors affiliated with an organization participating in the Bibsam Consortium (e.g., Örebro University) are covered by the agreement.

Please note that eLife only reviews articles that have been made available as preprints. Preprints that have undergone peer review can, if the author wishes, subsequently be published as regular articles in the journal. See the publisher's description.

Licences and Article Types

All articles are published with a CC-BY license.

The agreement covers all article types that would otherwise incur a publication fee: Research Articles, Short Reports, Research Advances, and Tools and Resources Articles.
