Find unintentional plagiarism using iThenticate

A man is sitting with a computer in front of him and a book beside him.

iThenticate is a text screening tool that researchers can use to check for similarities and unintentional plagiarism. The results provide information about the degree of similarity between your work and previously published material.

Uploaded manuscripts are compared against a comprehensive database that covers 97% of the world’s leading scientific journals and includes 47 billion web pages. iThenticate is used by approximately 1,500 publishers for plagiarism detection, including major international publishers such as Springer Nature, IEEE, and Wiley. The service is now available to employees and researchers affiliated with Örebro University (excluding students). An ORU account is required for login.
